Connect a domain you already own

You need a paid plan and access to the DNS settings at the company you bought the domain from.

1. Add the domain

Open Site → Domains, click Add domain, type the domain without https:// and click Connect domain.

2. Update your DNS records

Golively shows four steps. Complete them in your provider’s dashboard:

1. Sign in to your domain provider.
2. Open the DNS settings (called DNS, Manage DNS or Advanced DNS).
3. Point the A record to us.
4. Point the CNAME record to us.

3. Verify

Come back and click Verify connection. The domain shows Connecting while DNS updates, then Connected and Secure.
